Product & Soapmaking FAQs

What ingredients do you use in your soaps?

All of our soaps are made with high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients. We use plant-based oils and butters like olive oil, coconut oil, and shea butter—plus natural clays, botanicals, and essential or phthalate-free fragrance oils. Everything is vegan, cruelty-free, and made in small batches with care.

Are your soaps safe for sensitive skin?

Our soaps are made with gentle, skin-loving ingredients, but everyone’s skin is different! If you have very sensitive skin or known allergies, we recommend doing a patch test first. You can also check our Expert Skin Type Guide for tips on choosing the best soap for your skin.

Do your soaps contain palm oil?

Nope! We keep our products palm oil–free to support more sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.

How long does a bar of soap last?

That depends on how often you use it and how well you store it! To get the longest life out of your soap, keep it dry between uses by using a soap dish with drainage.

Why does my soap look a little different from the photo?

Because all our soaps are handmade in small batches, each bar is unique—colors and swirls may vary slightly, but the quality stays the same every time.

Can I use your soaps on my face?

Yes! Many of our soaps are gentle enough for facial use. We always suggest checking the ingredients first, especially if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin.

How do you color and scent your soaps?

We use a mix of natural colorants (like clays and botanicals) and skin-safe micas. Scents come from essential oils or high-quality, phthalate-free fragrance oils.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Yes! We use minimal and recyclable packaging to reduce our environmental footprint while still keeping your soap fresh and protected.
